Payum beach,
still natural, original,
fresh
This is my third time in Bandung.
From Bandung, I used Cipaganti Travel located on Pasteur Street — ticket cost about $8.
In Bogor, I stayed at my older brother’s place for 3 days and 2 nights.
Tourist Spot:
Deer – Bogor Palace (Wikipedia)
You can see many deer from the street.
Maybe Next time i want to go to “Penangkaran Rusa” Cariu Bogor, i dont know to say in english, maybe deer stalls 😀
Get all the information you need about your tourist destination.
Make a plan of what you should do.
Buy a manual map.
Or use GPS — it’s easier than a manual map.
You can use an Android smartphone with GPS support. I use a Lenovo P780; I tested it and it supports GPS satellite without a SIM card.
I use Sygic Map for Android — it’s accurate and easy to use.

Download the map for your planned location and test it.
You can find other downloadable maps here:

Bring a power bank for battery backup, and a charger.
I also use TripAdvisor to find the best places near me.

Good luck :p
This is my first time in Bandung, backpacking with no tour guide.
I stayed at Cihampelas 3 Hotel — cheap and clean, with breakfast included, about $20 per night.
I used Kaskus to find a motorcycle rental — only $6 per day, using my ID card and SIM card.
I used TripAdvisor to find cheap hotels near me.
I visited Bandung’s malls, museums, Tangkuban Perahu, Lembang, and Maribaya.
I didn’t have time to visit Ciater (hot springs) and Kawah Putih — maybe next time.
Bandung is a cool place; sometimes it rains.
Don’t forget to use GPS — I used GPS on my Samsung Android and BlackBerry.
Sygic GPS Map for Android is the best and most accurate map I’ve used. I never use Google Maps.
Mobile data for searching travel locations.
Power bank and charger.
Canon 500D camera.
